Over the past few weeks, Year 4 have been lucky enough to visit the capital to watch Disney鈥檚 The Lion King on stage at the Lyceum Theatre in the West End.听 The journey may have been long, but children鈥檚 behaviour was exemplary and staff enjoyed getting to know children more along the way.
Once we arrived in London, we took a walk to Covent Garden to watch the street performers and then headed to the theatre where we climbed 87 steps to be precise (not that the children counted!) up to the Grand Circle to find our seats.听 The children were all in awe of the show, the costumes, the singing, the acting, it was clear they loved every minute.听 For the staff, it was the look on children鈥檚 faces that made it, it鈥檚 that alone that makes the long days worthwhile.
