Year 1 have been full of excitement as they eagerly awaited for our chicken eggs to hatch. On Friday 15th May, the last egg finally hatched, meaning all of our chicks are now here! We were very pleased that all 10 eggs successfully hatched.
Our Griffins have done incredibly well learning all about the chicks鈥� journey, from the eggs being placed in the incubator to watching them hatch. They have loved observing the changes each day and have shown great care, patience, and curiosity throughout the experience.
The chicks have been carefully moved from the incubator into the brooder box, where we will continue to watch them grow over the next week. The children will also have the opportunity to gently and carefully hold the chicks before they return to the farm on Friday 22nd May.
