Last week, year 5 had the opportunity to visit Lapworth Museum in Birmingham. During the day they learnt about different fossils that were unearthed in our local area – Wrens Nest. They were Slinky Linky Snakes, linking different animals to their fossils. Year 5 took on the role of geologists, studying different minerals, their formation, size and color. Finally a highlight of the day was finding out about the Dudley Bug that lived in the area over 428 million years ago.
