]]> Thank you for helping us to promote a love of reading here at Â鶹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø by once again encouraging our children to enter into the fun of World Book Day. It was lovely to see our Griffins in their amazing costumes and to see them bringing in their favourite books. Once again, the day promoted lots of talk about books, authors, plots and characters. It was also wonderful to hear the children’s excited chatter about their favourite characters and favourite stories.

Teachers also entered into the fun too. At school we saw: the three little pigs, Dorothy, Superman, Batman, a wonderfully realistic Miss Trunchball, The Cat in the Hat, Lucy Bronze (the English footballer), a unicorn and an impressively scary Wolf disguised as grandma, to name just a few!

Thank you to everyone for entering into the fun of World Book Day and helping us to promote a love of books. Our Â鶹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø Family certainly loves to read!

Happy World Book Day!

Once again, it was lovely to see our Griffins in their amazing World Book Day costumes. It was also wonderful to hear their excited chatter about their favourite characters and favourite books. Years 1, 2 and 3 enjoyed an assembly led by Mr Davies (dressed as the Iron Man) who read a story about a robot who escaped into the world for a day.

We also enjoyed a costume parade and were amazed by all the creative book character costumes. Thank you to everyone for entering into the fun of World Book Day. It is wonderful to see Â鶹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø pupils share their love of reading!
