Happy World Book Day!

Once again, it was lovely to see our Griffins in their amazing World Book Day costumes. It was also wonderful to hear their excited chatter about their favourite characters and favourite books. Years 1, 2 and 3 enjoyed an assembly led by Mr Davies (dressed as the Iron Man) who read a story about a robot who escaped into the world for a day.

We also enjoyed a costume parade and were amazed by all the creative book character costumes. Thank you to everyone for entering into the fun of World Book Day. It is wonderful to see Â鶹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø pupils share their love of reading!

World Book Day 2023 was certainly a busy day at Â鶹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø and we have certainly celebrated our love of books in style!
Our youngest Griffins in Nursery and Reception enjoyed sharing their favourite stories together and were treated to a visit from pupils in Year 6 who read a story to them, in true professional story-teller style!
